The rink was buzzing with excitement as two determined teams of 8-year-olds, the Novi Devils and the Hartland Pumas, faced off in the championship game of the Little Bear Showdown. While the final score favored the Novi Devils, the game was a celebration of teamwork, growth, and the spirit of youth sports.
The Hartland Pumas, a slightly younger squad, came into the final with momentum after winning two of their three round-robin games. Novi, undefeated throughout the tournament, showcased their experience and cohesion on the ice.
While the Novi Devils took home the championship banner, every player left the rink a winner—having gained experience, confidence, and memories that will last a lifetime.

In a thrilling showdown between two determined squads of 8-year-olds, the Willmette Jr. Trevions emerged victorious over the Indy Ice Dragons with a final score of 3–0, clinching the championship title in dramatic fashion!
The game was a nail-biter through the first two periods, with both teams battling hard and goalies standing tall to keep the scoreboard clean. The Ice Dragons showed grit and hustle, matching the Trevions stride for stride and keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
But everything changed in the third period.
The Jr. Trevions came out flying, unleashing a flurry of offense that broke the deadlock. Their first goal sparked a wave of momentum, and within minutes, they added two more to seal the win.
